Nice to meet you!
My name is Montana, and I’m a freelance illustrator and designer.
I grew up in a crowded house with six brothers, and moved from state to state frequently. I used books to ground myself, and I used drawing as a way to entertain my family. Using pictures to communicate is something that I never outgrew, and I often draw inspiration from the body language of animals and performers. I recently earned my BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts.
Printmaking and collage are influential to my practice, and I always strive for spontaneity in my artwork. I currently reside in the Bay Area, CA.
